Let’s collaborate to create meaningful change—making the most of the time, energy, and heart we bring to those we serve.

I work with organizations and communities to navigate change with clarity, compassion, and courage—understanding that personal insight and collective impact are deeply connected. When individuals learn to care for themselves as much as others, think differently, and respond with intention, it changes how teams work, how leaders lead, and how cultures evolve.

Where This Work Comes From

Years ago, I was led to a class on how to raise Monarch butterflies. I wasn’t a “butterfly person” by any stretch—what intrigued me was transformation. I was in awe that so much potential could be packed into something as small as a Monarch egg, no bigger than the tip of a pencil. Watching the Monarch move from egg to caterpillar, into the chrysalis, and eventually take flight changed how I understood growth and change. Nothing was rushed or forced; each stage mattered. At the same time, my own life was moving through significant transitions—personally, professionally, and in leadership—and what I was observing in nature mirrored what I was experiencing in real time. The Monarch became my first and most enduring teacher, reminding me that transformation follows a process we can trust. That understanding is the foundation of everything I teach today. The lessons were so profound that I went on to author Messages of the Monarch and Seeds of Joy, both of which extend the themes of transformation, perspective, and intentional growth that shape my speaking.

Real change doesn’t happen through pressure, perfection, or forcing outcomes—it happens when people are given space to reflect, language to understand what they’re experiencing, and permission to respond differently. Again and again, I’ve seen transformation unfold when individuals and groups gain clarity about what’s no longer working, reconnect with an internal compass rooted in values, responsibility, and choice, and take consistent action even when the outcome isn’t fully known. This process shows up in nature, in leadership, and in the way healthy teams evolve.

The Pattern I Teach

I bring more than 25 years of leadership experience in public service, along with extensive experience speaking to professional associations, leadership teams, and community audiences. What sets my work apart isn’t hype or motivation—it’s perspective. Audiences often tell me they leave feeling grounded rather than overwhelmed, clear rather than pressured, and more capable of responding thoughtfully both individually and collectively. My role isn’t to supply answers, but to guide people toward clarity, choice, and meaningful action—helping them recognize what’s already available to them.

Why Organizations Invite Me In

I specialize in keynotes and group experiences that shift perspective without prescribing solutions, normalize the human side of change, and create shared language that teams can return to long after the event. When a group hears the same message at the same time, something important happens—understanding deepens, assumptions soften, and new possibilities emerge. That collective moment is where momentum begins.

How I Work

If you’re looking for a speaker who can help your audience see change differently—and leave with greater clarity, possibility, and shared responsibility—I’d be glad to explore whether my work is a fit for your organization or event. Sometimes, a new lens is all it takes to unlock the next step—together.
